Reflecting on 2023

Dear friends,

As 2023 ends, I look back at this past year with excitement for all that we’ve accomplished together.

Faithful to our mission, we continued to provide the highest level of care. We are proud to be national leaders when it comes to the health outcomes of our patients. We were one of only six health centers nationwide to earn federal recognition for diabetes care.

Our newest Flushing location, nicknamed Healthview, has grown in the year since its opening. Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, and Mental Health services are now available, alongside our Dental practice. Thanks to the dedicated work of our staff, the transition for our patients was nearly seamless.

This year, we also opened our first Community Health Resource Center in Chinatown, which provides a physical space for community members to access free resources, education, and some basic clinical services like screenings and vaccinations.

Innovation was a driving force for us in 2023, and we adopted tools for flexible and mobile working that connected us better as we grew—improving teamwork and collaboration across our six locations and numerous departments.

We’ve also invested in infrastructure to make improvements at our longstanding Manhattan locations, ensuring we’ll be able to deliver first-rate care well into the future.

These achievements are possible because of devoted patients, staff, supporters, and partners who share our vision of high-quality and affordable healthcare for all.  I’m so grateful to all of you.
