Shing Kit David Wong, L.M.S.W.
Mr. Wong is a licensed master social worker specializing in outpatient community mental health services and Asian-American mental health services.
He provides diagnostic and treatment assessment for a wide range of mental illness, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment and psychotic disorders. Mr. Wong also provides individual therapy for patients of all ages. He works collaboratively with the medical and psychiatric teams to enhance care for his patients.
Mr. Wong’s approach to social work and mental health is patient-centered and collaborative. He believes therapists and patients working together with dignity, compassion, and respect can achieve positive outcomes.
When not working, Mr. Wong enjoys binge-watching television series, cooking, and taking care of his plants. He believes that self-care is the best way to regain control of one’s life.
