Lynn D. Sherman, MBA

Lynn D. Sherman is an Executive Vice President at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center. She is responsible for Financial Strategies and works with De Young Chan, CFO to ensure proper financial operations for the Health Center. Ms. Sherman also oversees the IT, Capital Projects and Human Resource functions at the Health Center. She is most recently responsible for the construction of the Health Center’s newest facility, an 82,000 sq ft building in Flushing, Queens. Ms. Sherman previously worked at Beth Israel Health Care System as a Budget Director and at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital Center as an Administrator of Budget & Reimbursement. She was also a Consulting Manager at Ernst & Young for five years. Ms. Sherman received her BA from SUNY Binghamton and her MBA from Cornell University with a concentration in Health Care and Management Information Systems.

Ms. Sherman is Treasurer and a Board member at Affinity Legacy, Treasurer and Board member at Vibrant Emotional Health, and Treasurer and Board member at YouthBridge-NY. She is a member of the HFMA and HIMSS, and a member of the Finance Committee of NACHC as well. An active member of CHCANYS, Ms. Sherman is a fierce advocate for the underserved.
