Walter Chen, DDS
Dr. Chen is a general practice dentist at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center.
He performs a wide range of dental services, including general examinations, teeth cleaning, dental X-rays, dental fillings and crowns, tooth extraction, root canals, basic periodontal treatment, denture and bridge care, referrals and care coordination with specialists, and health education to promote oral health. He also employs a supportive and compassionate approach to provide optimal oral healthcare.
Dr. Chen’s approach to dental care is patient-centered and non-judgmental, striving to reduce the anxiety people sometimes have for dentistry. He emphasizes dental hygiene and disease prevention.
As a member of the Chinese American Dental Association, Dr. Chen has taken part in numerous oral cancer screening and dental health events. He has also participated in dental mission trips, providing free dental services to underserved locals in Jamaica and Ecuador.
In his spare time, Dr. Chen enjoys reading, traveling, and being outdoors with family and friends.
