Kathleen Phung, M.D.
Dr. Phung is a physician who specializes in Pediatrics.
She provides primary care to patients up to 21 years of age, including regular checkups, well-child visits, and immunizations. Dr. Phung also provides health education, referrals, and care coordination with specialists.
A well-trained pediatrician, Dr. Phung approaches her practice with patient- and family-centered care. Prior to joining the Health Center, she engaged in teaching and research in the area of quality improvement in pediatric care. As a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and advocate for children’s health, Dr. Phung met with New York State legislators to discuss the negative impact of vaping on the pediatric population.
When not working, she enjoys reading (especially fiction and fantasy), hiking, and cooking.
