Jackie Yanchun Bao, LMSW
Ms. Bao is a licensed master social worker specializing in outpatient community mental health and Asian-American mental health at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center.
She provides diagnostic and treatment assessment for a wide range of mental illness, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment and psychotic disorders. She provides individual therapy for patients of all ages. Ms. Bao works collaboratively with the medical and psychiatric teams to enhance care for her patients.
Ms. Bao's approach to mental health is always patient-centered and focused on empowerment. She uses motivational interviewing and compassionate listening to help her patients identify and realize their own strengths and potential.
In her spare time, Ms. Bao's interests are related to spirituality and investments. She also has two small dogs (Bichons) that are her emotional support.
