Andi Fu, MD
Dr. Fu is a psychiatrist who specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. She is Chief Medical Informaticist at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center.
She provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and psychotic disorders, with a focus on children and adolescents. Dr. Fu offers individual therapy tailored to the needs of young patients and their families, working closely with both medical and mental health teams to enhance care for her patients.
Dr. Fu is passionate about helping young people develop their sense of self and equipping them with tools to manage life’s challenges. She focuses on client and family strengths, using evidence-based approaches in her care.
A strong advocate for LGBTQ youth, Dr. Fu has worked extensively to support their identities and well-being. She has taught medical professionals how to provide sensitive, affirming care and has been involved in initiatives to improve gender-affirming practices within health care systems.
In her spare time, Dr. Fu enjoys travelling to new places to try new foods and pet new animals, playing table-top board games, and reading on the train.
